Another use for dryer sheets is a deodorizer for your trash. Place them at the bottom of your garbage can, under the bag, and it will help decrease odors.

Laundry Detergent

There are typically lines inside the detergent cap to show you how much detergent to use, but those lines aren’t necessarily correct. Detergent companies want you to use more than you need in order to get you to purchase their product more frequently. Modern detergent is very concentrated, so all you really need is a shot glass full. This will save you money and allow you to get the most out of your detergent.
