Instead of wasting money on expensive cleaning solutions, try these four bathroom cleaning hacks! Continue reading to get started.
Wipe black tea on your mirror. Leave the expensive cleaner behind and replace it with black tea. The tannic acid in brewed black tea helps to break down mildew and add shine back to your mirror.
Soak your shower head in vinegar. Simply fill a plastic baggie with diluted white vinegar and twist-tie it around your shower head or kitchen faucet. Leave it overnight to naturally break down and remove the grimy buildup.
Keep a jar of rice and essential oils in the bathroom to reduce odors. Rice has plenty of uses outside the kitchen. Since it is an all-natural odor absorber, you can mix 10-20 drops of your favorite essential oils (such as rosemary or lavender) with 2 cups of rice to create a natural bathroom freshener.
Shine your faucets with cooking spray. Few things will brighten up your fixtures quite like nonstick cooking spray. All you have to do is spray a bit onto a microfiber cloth or directly onto your fixtures and start polishing. You can spray the faucet, metal drawer pulls, or even your stainless steel appliances.
