Having fun in the nice weather doesn’t have to break your budget. Here are some great ideas to keep your children entertained, and some fun family activities you can enjoy for less.

Camp out in your yard. If you can’t take time off work, take advantage of the great weather and go camping in your own backyard. Put away the electronics and enjoy nature with the convenience of your own bathroom being just a few feet away.

Visit your local state park. The admission cost for a state park is always free, or very cheap. Enjoy an afternoon with your family doing activities like hiking, fishing, or just soaking in the sun!

Be a tourist in your hometown. Get to know your town a little bit more by visiting the local (free!) museums and other attractions. You might be surprised by what you find.

Have a craft day. Exercise your creative abilities by completing a few crafts at home! Click here for a list of fun and easy projects your whole family will enjoy.

Make your own water slide. If you have grass available to you, set up sprinklers, fill up some squirt bottles and water balloons, lay out a plastic tarp, and get the hose ready. Click here for directions!

Have fun while saving. This spring, spend some time teaching your children the importance of financial wellness. Try this list of fun activities to help your young savers understand the value of money! Then, kick start your child’s financial future with a Moola Moola Youth Account at SeaComm.
