Create your own morning routine. One of the best ways to start your day is to get up early and eat a healthy breakfast. This may also include exercising, checking your emails, or taking your dog for a walk. No matter what you choose to do, remember to create good morning habits to provide a bit of organization to the beginning of your day!
Prioritize. It’s difficult to have a productive day if you don’t know where to start. When that’s the case, the best solution is to list everything you need to get accomplished, and then prioritize those tasks based on importance.
Write a “Stop-Doing” list. You might think that setting a To-Do list is the foolproof way to be productive…but more and more productive people record what they commit to stop doing. In addition to your To-Do list, your Stop-Doing list could include waking up late, waiting until the last minute to return emails, or saying the words, “I can’t.” These are all things that might hold you back from being your most productive self!
Focus on one thing at a time. While multi-tasking is a helpful strength, it can also lead you to make mistakes. We have so much information to store in our mind that we end up forgetting certain things. When you focus on just one thing at a time, it will free up space in your mind to store all the knowledge associated with your one goal!
