Most flights are expensive…but the cost shouldn’t empty your wallet. Here are four key tips to help you book the cheapest flights, always!
Keep your searches “private.” Did you know that flight prices change after you’ve searched for it a few times in your web browser? Based on the cookies in your browser, flight prices do rise when a specific route is consistently searched, as the flight provider wants to tempt you into booking the flight quickly before prices get even more expensive. Don’t fall for this ploy…instead, you should always search for flights in private browsing mode to see the lowest prices!

Fly out on the cheapest day. There are numerous theories about booking specifically on a Tuesday to save money…but in reality, there is no real truth to exactly which days are the cheapest to fly! While most of the time it is cheaper to fly out on a weekday, this isn’t always the case. Your strategy should be to look at the entire month, and see exactly which days are the cheapest for your specific route!
Try the smaller airlines. Search engines might not always display the smaller, and often cheaper airlines. When you do find small airlines, even if they are shown in the search engine results, it often pays to check the company’s site which may reveal exclusive online offers!
