Surprising SeaComm members with free smoke alarms. After learning of numerous detrimental house fires that occurred in the North Country this past winter, SeaComm officials decided to step up and make a difference! SeaComm recently purchased over 500 smoke alarms, and donated them back to unsuspecting SeaComm members. The smoke alarms were given out randomly at all six SeaComm branch locations, with a goal of increasing awareness and ensuring the safety of local residents. Supporting the Kid’s Closet at CVPH Medical Center. SeaComm recently filled the Kid’s Closet at CVPH Medical Center with a large supply of toys, books, games and puzzles! This donation will directly benefit pediatric patients who are staying at the hospital. The goal of this initiative was to bring a little joy to children and teens throughout their stay at CVPH. Throughout the year, SeaComm will continue to perform these random acts of kindness, with hopes of encouraging others to do the same. Watch out for our next Pay-it-Forward event in a town near you!
